The structure of a turbofan engine mainly includes the following parts:
Compressor module: It includes a fan and a supercharger, usually composed of a 5-stage low-pressure compressor and a 10-stage high-pressure compressor. The fan is responsible for inhaling and compressing air, while the high-pressure compressor further compresses the air to provide the required oxygen for combustion.
Combustion module: It includes a combustion chamber and an injection system. The combustion chamber mixes the compressed air with the fuel and ignites it to produce high-temperature and high-pressure combustion gas, which then enters the turbine to drive the turbine to rotate.
Turbine module: It includes a high-pressure turbine and a low-pressure turbine. The high-pressure turbine is driven by the exhaust gas from the combustion chamber to drive the compressor; the low-pressure turbine drives the fan to provide more thrust.
Exhaust system: After the gas passes through the turbine, it is discharged through the exhaust system to generate thrust.
Accessory drive system: It obtains energy through the rotor of the high-pressure compressor to drive various accessories on the engine to ensure the normal operation of the engine.
